About the Author

Born in Harlem, New York, and raised partly in Kumasi, Ghana, West Africa, Eric Nyantekyi got the privilege to be able to think outside of “normal” cultural and social bonds. Growing up in Manhattan, New York, he remembers the “golden days” of walking into any corner store, arcade or comic shop which were in abundance in the early 1980s and being captivated by illustrations of comic books and illustrated magazines like Heavy Metal.

About the Illustrator

Peter Washington has become a well-established artist in the world of fantasy art. After graduating high school, he joined the military where he would often spend most of his off duty time sketching and drawing. After his time in the military was over, he returned to the United States. He moved to North Carolina, where he found the same love and inspiration that he found in Germany. Still keeping the love and passion for Celtic and fantasy art deep within his heart, he quickly picked up where he left off in the military. After graduating bachelors degree in multimedia arts and animation, he moved to California where he worked as a concept artist for movies and television. After years of dealing with the go-go-go lifestyle of California, he moved to Arizona in order to rest and relax. The beautiful orange and purple hazed sunsets of Arizona inspired him to return to his roots, as an illustrator. Washington decided to move back to Florida, where his career began.
